Real Estate Development Coordinator The DDD is a publicly funded entity responsible for the development and management of Downtown New Orleans. The Real Estate Development Coordinator assists the Director of Economic Development to create and implement strategies to foster economic and business development via adaptive reuse, redevelopment, renovation and new construction of downtown real estate projects. A minimum of a Bachelors Degree in economic development, urban planning, business, finance, real estate or a related field is required; along with at least two years recent related experience. Relevant high level college internship or work experience may be substituted for some or all of the experience requirements at the discretion of the CEO. Public Safety Ranger The Downtown Development District is looking for outstanding citizens to represent the City as part of the Public Safety Ranger Program. The primary purpose of the Ranger Program is to keep Downtown safe by acting as eyes and ears for the NOPD and notifying them of any suspicious activity. Rangers are also trained in First Aid and CPR. In addition to the safety services, Rangers are also trained in customer service and New Orleans history and are available to provide directions and information in and around Downtown. Candidates should have strong verbal communications skills and a passion for improving the City of New Orleans.
